BSH Home Appliances Expands Recall of Dishwashers Due to Fire Hazard
Kenmore Dishwasher Recall for the United States and Canada and Recall Expansion in Canada

On October 19, 2017, BSH Home Appliances Corporation, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada voluntarily agreed to expand its 2015 safety recall to replace the power cords on certain models of Kenmore® and Kenmore Elite® brand dishwashers. The Kenmore brand dishwashers affected by this safety recall expansion were manufactured from June 2013 through March 2014 and sold through Sears Canada.

The previous dishwasher power cord recall, dated October 1, 2015, included Kenmore Elite brand dishwashers manufactured from February 2010 through April 2013 and sold through Sears in the U.S. and Canada.

Please read this notice carefully and enter your model and serial numbers below to determine if your dishwasher is affected or to register for the free repair.

To find out if your dishwasher is included in this recall, follow the steps below:
1) Locate your Model and Serial Number. (See illustrations A and B)
2) Enter your full Model Number, the first 3 numerical digits after SER only for your Serial Number. Click on the Check Recall Status button.
